Uganda National Musicians Federation Is A Scheme To Eat Taxpayers Money – Nubian Li

Firebase singer Bukeni Ali alias Nubian Li has branded the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) as a scheme to eat taxpayers’ money.

It should be recalled that the UNMF is one of the most trending things that have been making rounds in the entertainment circles.

Despite having seen relative success from some of the biggest musicians, others are opposing it. Most of these are the Bobi Wine-leaning artistes who feel that the Federation is alienating them on political grounds.

Appearing in a local interview, Nubian Li says that he’s aware of this Federation. But all he knows is that it is a scheme to eat people’s money. He added that it’s also a plot to silence musicians and keep them tied to one political side. He added that even if he was given an invitation, he wouldn’t show up because it isn’t in good spirits.

“I know about the Federation and that it has some artists such as Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool among others. According to me, this is a plot to swindle taxpayers money and keep musicians silent about political affairs. It’s a musician’s moral obligation to speak up for the people. Even if I was given an invitation, I would never join it because it wasn’t formed in good spirits,” said Nubian Li.

Meanwhile meetings are becoming meetings for the Federation. Musicians seem to be coming up together with a unanimous voices to fight for their rights.
