The sad scenario happened on Tuesday the 28th of January 2020 at Bukuya Town Council in Kassanda district. However, according to the police spokesperson Fred Enanga in-charge of Uganda police, the suspect came out face to face and released bullets at a mad dog, but accidentally killed an innocent kid.

Enanga asked relatives of the suspect and friends to alert Police about his whereabouts so as he can also say something about the situation.

“The IGP has extended his condolences and prayers to the immediate family of the late Patrick Manihiro. He has also dispatched a team that has reached out to the family and further tasked them to fast track the investigations and also ensure the suspect is traced, arrested and brought to justice. The suspect dropped the gun and escaped from the scene. A serious manhunt for his arrest is ongoing” Enanga says.
