Uganda Police Warned Over Toture And Illegal Arrests

The Uganda police has been blamed for mostly violating human rights across the country for the quite some years now.

The natives within the country claim that the force can’t be trusted with their role of keeping law and order. They claim it’s the force its self that distorts the law hence leading to illegal arrest and tortures.

However, the new IGP Okoth and the new police leadership are fighting to see that the crimes that are against the police are erased.

Talking about the leadership, the new Kampala Metropolitan Commander Moses Kafeero has warned  officers against human rights violation.

He advised them on respecting human rights while executing their duties than violating them.

Kafeero also urged his fellow officers to focus on integrity based activities.
