According to the journalist, one pays Shs 150,000 for a VIP seat. However, when they get inside, they are required to pay Shs 5000 for a chair.
Apparently, this is one of the reasons he doesn’t attend some concerts. The value of people’s money is still lacking. He went ahead to credit the Roast and Rhyme concert as the best.
“But Uganda concerts, you pay 150k for a ticket and still have to pay 5k for a seat. My reason for not attending some events. Value for money is still low. Let me wait for our Roast and Rhyme,” he said.
Well, this is a trend that has been ongoing for quite long and he’s not the first person to complain about it. Most people who attend concerts in Uganda always leave unsatisfied regardless of where the concert is hosted.
Meanwhile, Rema registered a success in her concert as it sold out. Many people as well as fellow singers turned up in huge numbers to support her. Musicians such as Lydia Jazmine, Mesach Ssemakula, Nina Roz, Spice Diana were all in attendance.
She also didn’t disappoint as she sang almost all her top songs. Although some critics have pointed out some flaws, they did not overshadow the good ones.
Next up will be Lydia Jazmine’s First Born concert on the 1st of March at Hotel Africana. We await to see if the Rema will reciprocate the same support the Kapeesa singer gave her.
