A few years ago, an unknown rich man unexpectedly surfaced in the Ugandan entertainment and social circles. This was none other than Bryan White.
He dished out money like it had no meaning to everyone who sang his tune. He even had musicians on his bandwagon. Artistes such as Dr Jose Chameleone, DJ Michael, and Weasel were all in his camp. The things that were done by them for him made them seem like paupers.
The socialite, however, said that this wasn’t true. They weren’t beggars but rather his friends who he loved so much. The only problem was that they listened to a lot to people’s voices. According to him, he wanted the best for them.
Additionally, he said that Ugandans and those he helped didn’t uplift his legacy. At a time he was dying, everybody forsook him, even all those he had helped. He believes that if Ugandans were appreciative, they would have uplifted his legacy.
Below is what he had to say;
“I helped a lot of people but most Ugandans are non-appreciative. For the musicians, I loved them and they were my friends. They weren’t beggars but they concentrated on people’s words and lost it. At one point I was on the verge of death but all the people I helped never came through for me. I don’t know why Ugandans don’t know how to appreciate. At least my legacy would have been uplifted while I was away but nothing,” he said.
Well Bryan White is now back and he said that he will go ahead with his charity initiatives. However, this time he is going to be keen on who he helps.
