Cindy and Sheebah’s beef runs way back when they were still young and very competitive in the music industry. It kept on growing even now that they have all matured, started families and businesses. They still don’t see each other as friends.
When Cindy was appointed as the President of UMA, Sheebah refused to join. She even told the media that she doesn’t know what UMA means.
However, when her friend King Saha decided to contest against Cindy, she was available and supportive. The elections were stopped and Cindy remained president of the association hence leaving Sheebah out of it.
A new Federation to take on artistes was formed and Sheebah was given an opportunity to become the deputy president. She has been taking it seriously and also saying she is dedicated to lead her fellows.
However, Cindy is not having it. She has said all members in the UNMF don’t know what they are doing.
She also added that she is unbothered by Sheebah’s position in the new Federation. What she cares about are the goals of UMA that she leads.
“I don’t mind whether Sheebah takes a bigger position or not. What I care about are the goals of the Uganda Musicians Association [UMA] which I lead as a president,” Cindy Sanyu said in her recent interview.
