US Gained Nothing From Strikes, Iran’s Supreme Leader Says

Iran supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, brushed off the impact of US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in his latest speech. He wasn’t convinced that the attacks did much to stop Iran’s nuclear plans and praised Iran’s response against a US air base in Qatar.

Pete Hegseth,the US defense secretary doubled down on the belief that the strikes really set back Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He highlighted intelligence reports showing significant damage to Iran’s nuclear sites, calling the mission a big win.

Iran supreme leader warned of more strikes on US bases in the Middle East if Iran faces more attacks. He confidently declared victory over Israel and the US, shrugging off President Trump’s claims about the effectiveness of the strikes.

Efforts to restart negotiations with Iran

The US is exploring ways to bring Iran back to the negotiating table, possibly by supporting a peaceful nuclear program.

However, Iran’s foreign minister made it clear that talks with the US are not on the agenda for now. Tensions between Iran and Israel led to a ceasefire mediated by President Trump.

Iran decided to stop cooperating with nuclear inspections, marking a significant shift. The air attacks between Iran and Israel resulted in casualties, but the numbers vary in different reports.
