US Government Hails Uganda For Bilateral Relationship

The US government has hailed Uganda for her continued bilateral relationship, with America. The deputy assistant secretary of defense for African Affairs, Chidi Blyden spoke at the belated celebrations marking Uganda’s 59th anniversary.

He said the partnership with Uganda has helped ensure peace and security in the East African region.

‘’Honored to represent the US and be the guest of honor as Embassy of Uganda celebrates 59 years of independence. The US-Uganda partnership continues as we pursue peace and security in East Africa, together,’’ Chidi tweeted.

The Ugandan Embassy in the United States marked the 59th anniversary of Uganda’s independence on October 15, 2021.

The ceremony took place at Bethesda North Marriot Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland.

Members of the Diplomatic corps, business partners, and community leaders were in attendance at the event.
