Vampino Faked His Arrest In Jamaica – Kasuku

Dembe FM presenter Isaac Katende aka Kasuku came out in an interview to allege that local dancehall singer Vampino faked his arrest to get media attention.

It should be noted that the Kwekunyakunya singer took to his Facebook page last week to reveal he was in a Jamaican prison in Montego Bay.

News had it that he had gone to Jamaica to record audios and videos with some Jamaican artistes.

After this was done, he decided to fly to America to check on his family. However, they deported him after irregularities with his passport.

Vampino added that on reaching Jamaica he was instead thrown into prison. Apparently, there was no direct flight to Africa.

He then said that while in prison, he pleaded with a prison guard who gave him a phone to post the message.

The singer was later released and escorted to a flight back to Uganda. He then proceeded to thank the Ugandan embassy and Bobi Wine for his release.

Kasuku however didn’t buy this story. He thinks Vampino cooked it up just for attention that he had flown to Jamaica.

The controversial media personality added that the rumors of Vampino meeting Buju Banton or Romain Virgo as alleged are also false.

He also said that Vampino tagged Bobi Wine in his stunt because no one would question his story as long as the name Bobi Wine appeared.

“Vampino truly flew to Jamaica some days back. He even posted a video of himself there but it went unnoticed so he decided to pull off this stunt. He has been to Sweden, Norway and even the US so how come his Visa hadn’t yet landed him in trouble. Besides how can you be put behind bars because your Visa has issues. He says Jamaica has no direct flight to Africa but how did he get there. How come he didn’t employ the same means to return. He only tagged Bobi Wine because no one can question his story,” Kasuku said.

Kasuku advised Vampino to release music instead of these worthless stunts.
