A New Verbal War Breaks Out Between Halima Namakula And Radio Presenter Eddie Ssendi

A new verbal war seems to have broken out between Dembe FM radio presenter Eddie Ssendi and veteran singer, Halima Namakula.

This followed the comments made by the radio analyst on the Talk and Talk Show on Dembe FM over the weekend.

Ssendi alongside his co-hosts Jenkins Mukasa and Kasuku talked about the recently concluded E-concert that has been happening on NBS TV.

The trio said that some musicians sounded horrible while performing and the Kimbewo singer was one of them.

Ssendi further said that Namakula is one person who doesn’t know how to sing. She doesn’t know how she even made it to the top. When this fell into Halima’s ears, she made sure to drop it hot to Ssendi.

“It’s true what Ssendi said, I don’t know how to sing. I don’t have those sweet vocals but what I know is that when we step on stage, I can beat you hands down. I haven’t seen anyone in Uganda who is better than me while performing on stage.” Halima said.

She cited the example of Eddy Kenzo who people have always mocked that he doesn’t know how to sing. Halima Namakula wondered who now sells and makes more money than Kenzo does.

“I actually don’t even know who Ssendi is to be honest. If he’s short and one of the shortest men in Uganda then I know him. My son once told me that if your the shortest, you have to speak out loud to be heard.” Halima said.

She also questioned what Ssendi posseses because for her she’s accumulated lots of assets and wealth from her inability to sing.
