“I’m a Kavule person and there is nothing to hide about it. There is a reason why the party president is the one who handed me the party card. I want to be part of the change I want in this country. Besides, if one doesn’t leave their comfort zone, they can never achieve what they want,” he said.
Additionally, the Swangz Avenue-affiliated singer also talked about his fellow singers that he started with. The majority of them have left the country and are doing kyeyo abroad.
This is because Kampala didn’t treat them well and they ran bankrupt. He said that Kampala is not very easy and the fans too can contribute to one’s depression.
On top of that, he gave his views about copyright law. A few months ago, musicians under the federation were speaking of how they were soon getting this law enacted and enforced. However, he said that both the artists and general population need to be sensitized about how it works if it is to succeed.
