Mr Vincent Ssekatte, who is the Criminal Investigations spokesman, urged that Viboyo is already kept at Jinja Police Station and charged for using unlawful words to important people. He was too accused of taking less reaction when they tried to reach him through calls and failed to return.
“In this tune, the Swangz Avenue singer used vulgar words to many important and Ugandan cultural tribes in the country, an issue that is not allowed. Voboyo has been undercover for some good time-and we finally had to track him for days until we got him in Kampala. The victim is already kept in custody following his bad communication skills,” Mr Vicent said.
With law, Section 25 of the Computer Misuse Act 2011 on offensive communication; “Any person who wilfully and repeatedly uses electronic communication to disturb or attempts to disturb the peace, quiet or right of privacy of any person with no purpose of legitimate communication whether or not a conversation ensues commits a misdemeanour.”
