The Bailando singer said that during the start of her career, Kasuku said something that hurt her.
She, therefore, felt like looking for him and give it to him hot. However, she restrained herself and finally managed to deal with the critics.
If she had decided to run after everyone criticizing her, she wouldn’t be the music force she is today.
“When I had just started music, @Kasuku256 said something and I wanted to look for him and beat him up,” she said.
Apparently, due to her not so smooth feminine voice, Vinka has always been referred to as a man. In fact some people nicknamed her “Vinka the man” after WWE female fighter, Becky the Man.
This can partly explain why the Swangz Avenue singer adopted the moniker, Boss Man Jah. Vinka has been able to use that voice that many didn’t find melodious, soothing and angelic to become not only one of the best female music stars of her era but also one of the best singers currently.
She arose to the scene in 2017 with her Malaika hit and has released countless hits since then. They include Love Panic, Bailando, Thank God among others.
She recently got a Grammy nod for consideration for the official nominations. Prior to becoming a musician, she was former Swangz Avenue singer Irene Ntale’s manager.
For Kasuku, his controversial Talk and Talk show has landed him in troubles with a number of musicians. In 2014, he was beaten up by Eddy Kenzo after offensive remarks he made towards the Big Talent boss.
His co-worker Eddie Sendi also almost got beaten up by the late Mowzey Radio. Alien Skin a few months ago also promised to slap the Dembe FM presenter. Other musicians have had issues with Kasuku and his co-presenters over the views aired on the show.
