Vinka Trashes Beefing With Fellow Label Mate Azawi

Songstress Veronica Lugya aka Vinka has denied disliking fellow Swangz Avenue singer Priscilla Zawedde aka Azawi. The ‘Thank God’ singer while appearing on NBS After 5 program was questioned about this development.

MC Kats asked Vinka why she seems to be on good terms with another Swangz Avenue singer, Winnie Nwagi, yet it doesn’t seem the case with Azawi.

This is due to the fact that Vinka usually posts Nwagi through her social media handles. Vinka denied this and said that it’s not the case.

“I’m not beefing Azawi and it’s not true that I don’t usually post her. You can check my social media pages. I recently posted her concert on my Instagram stories. Besides I was with her just recently over the weekend so we are in good terms. No bad blood between us, just good vibes,” she said.

Swangz Avenue has three major popular artists, that is; Vinka, Winnie Nwagi and Azawi.

The label has a role to make sure that these artists don’t hate each other through beefs that can be started by fans or even favoritism by the label.

And this is something that has been well done by the label. Each artists has somewhere they have eclipsed one another but they have managed to stay focused, determined and respectful towards themselves.

These artists have a fan base of their own that falls under the categories of the music they sing.

She also hinted on an upcoming concert of hers since all the other two Nwagi and Azawi will have concerts this year. Vinka said that to have a concert depends on whether an artiste feels they are ready.

And for her case, she doesn’t feel ready yet. So for now, all she will do is support her fellow label mates to have successful ones.
