Was It Bobi Wine And Barbie’s Hot Iron? – Stella Nyanzi Questions Eric Mwesigwa’s Saga

Poet, feminist and politician Dr. Stella Nyanzi, has questioned the drama surrounding National Unity Platform (NUP) supporter Eric Mwesigwa. Eric Mwesigwa is one of the NUP supporters who was said to have been abducted by government through a drone. He appeared in the media with wounds on his chest saying he was tortured and burnt by men he didn’t understand.

Few weeks after accusing the government, Eric Mwesigwa returned to the media with another story saying the people that tortured him were from NUP. According to him, NUP people also promised him UGShs50 million. This is after accusing government, they unfortunately didn’t give him any single coin.

As this matter seems confusing to many people, Dr Stella Nyanzi who is a strong supporter of the opposition is asking for what NUP used to burn the chest of Eric Mwesigwa. Through poetry, Nyanzi posted on social media wondering how Eric Mwesigwa took risks of his health for money that hasn’t even been paid to him.

The outspoken poet asked to know if the hot iron used on Eric Mwesigwa was from Bobi Wine’s house or somewhere else.

“1) Hmm… ya Allah bi!
Who is King Zarry akuuma Kibanda?
Who weaves deals of 50 Milion?
50 Million exchanged for burnt breasts!
Eric Mwesigwa plays a risky game.
Was that hot iron from Bobi’s Barbie?

2) Hmm… ya Allah bi!
Does NUP also have its drones?
Do the drones belong to Musevenists?
Eric Mwesigwa plays a deadly game.
Was that hot iron from Bobi’s Barbie?” Dr. Stella Nyanzi wrote.

It is also quite questionable how Mwesigwa turned from accusing soldiers of torturing him to now siding with them. However, like they say, somethings are better left the way they are.
