We Have Set Up The Jacob Oulanyah Education Fund – Owiny Dollo

Chief Justice Owiny Dollo has revealed that they have set up an education fund in the names of Jacob Oulanyah. This project will help educate children of Jacob plus those who have been benefiting from him in terms of school fees.

“We have set up the Jacob Oulanyah Education Trust Fund which I am privileged to chair. It is our vow, our determination that Oulanyah’s children may not be able to see him now, but their dreams, pursuit of education will continue as if he was alive,” said Owiny- Dollo.

Speaker Anita Among also noted that the children of Oulanyah are the children of Parliament. For this matter, she called upon the legislators to put aside some money for the sake of Oulanyah’s children.

“The children of Jacob, we want to pledge to you, we as Parliament of Uganda have an additional responsibility towards Jacob’s children. You are our children as Parliament,” said Among.

Meanwhile, they will take the body of the fallen speaker to Parliament tomorrow for MPs to pay their last respects. On Wednesday, he will be at Kololo for a state funeral.

Finally, they will take his body to Omoro on Thursday for burial on Friday which will be a public holiday.
