We Should Sympathize With Museveni, He Is Dealing With Stubborn Son – Yusuf Serunkuma

Yusuf Serunkuma, a scholar has said the country should sympathize with President Museveni over the fact that he is dealing with a stubborn son. He said this due to the behavior of the first son, Gen.

Muhoozi Kainerugaba lately on social media. Instead of judging Museveni, Serunkuma says people should sympathize with him.

“I want us to sympathise with Mr Museveni for dealing with a stubborn son. You cannot be as punitive and lethal against your own son as a father.”

“The president has too much at stake. He is in a difficult position. If you punish your son, it is embarrassing even to you and apologising is equally embarrassing,” Serunkuma added.

Yusuf Serunkuma says on the other hand, Muhoozi has a major dilemma. Till now he doesn’t know how to prove to people that he is not a daddy’s boy.

This is probably the reason why he is doing what he is doing. However, Serunkuma says Muhoozi has been trying to joke in a very chaotic manner.

“Muhoozi’s readers-those reading his tweets are too serious yet I think he was trying to be humorous and there lies a major dilemma. I think Muhoozi was trying to be funny. He could be a terrible comedian. You can joke about so many things but with the nature of the jokes he has been tweeting for a long time, it should be criminal in that position to joke like that.”
