The comedian and his wife are among the entertainers who have been facing backlash for gracing the birthday events of First son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Salvador however and his wife say they are looking for money to feed their children. There is therefore no way they would turn such a huge offer down.
He further added that he doesn’t know Muhoozi personally and was only hired to perform. People therefore should stop reasoning with stupidity by mixing politics everywhere.
The comedian wondered why National Resistance Movement supporters didn’t get annoyed or drag him when he appeared in Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga video.
“I think people should at times stop being stupid. Who says that I can’t perform anywhere I want as long as I get the right offer. I even don’t know Muhoozi personally but I was paid to perform and now I’m richer than then.
Nobody has ever taken me to NRM or NUP and therefore I do as I please. Those NUP hooligans won’t threaten me with boycotts because my real fans always attend my shows,” Salvado said.
The comedian maintained that Hon Bobi Wine is his friend and if he called him to perform for the right offer, he would go.
Social media attacks and concert boycotts has become the major tool of the NUP fanbase. These always use the method to punish those people they see siding with the regime.
