The scariest thing is the fact that no one is hacking these accounts. The owners are the ones posting these pictures.
Is it a trend? If it is, then we have a lot to deal with. It is discomforting to know that someone finds comfort in posting nudity.
Most of the time when you sit down with these people, you will find out that they are fighting silent wars from within and they are simply using social media to heal. Some of these people have been victims of body shaming.
They have been bullied and made to feel less of who they truly are, and exposing their nudes to get comments gives them contentment.
It is indeed very sad. This is because after a few years they will actually regret this because in all ways it is not right. Given the season we are in of Covid where everyone is taking care of themselves, it’s hard not to be depressed.
The girls need to know that these pictures that seem sexy now will actually be disgusting in their later times. Some employers who take things a little more serious can’t give you a job after finding such in your archives.
If depression is pushing you to do this, there are better ways of dealing with it. If it’s body shamers, learn how to love yourself. Otherwise, the nudity on social media helps in nothing at all.
