What Is Wrong With Presidents Travelling By Bus?

Since yesterday, social media users have been going wild because pictures of African Presidents traveling by bus were sighted. Most people were shocked by this because it has been unheard of.

The heavily packed bus drove the presidents to the Queen’s burial service that was held yesterday, 19th September 2022. Most probably what made most people wonder was the fact that most of these presidents if not all, were Africans.

So the question is, what is wrong with traveling by bus? As far as we are all concerned, the public too uses this means of transport.

Is it so wrong for presidents to use especially because they were the only ones on the bus? How come it raised a number of big issues on social media to the point that some people drew the line and said it was just racism in a modern way.

None of the presidents that sat in the bus has come out to say anything about this incident though.

The argument of many is that if this was as fair as they put it, why didn’t President Joe Biden travel by bus as well? Joe Biden came in with his convoy as usual plus his security.

The presidents that traveled by bus were not seen with any security which we are not sure whether it was safe.

Meanwhile, some Ugandans were so disappointed when they didn’t see Museveni on this bus because he sent a representative. Either way, the funeral service went on and the queen was actually buried and laid to rest.
