Where Is The Love In Your Appreciation?- Ugandans Question First Lady

Yesterday 24th June 2021 was first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni’s birthday. She marked 73 years of age on this Earth. Her husband and President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni took to his Twitter account to wish her a happy birthday

Mr Museveni started by thanking God for his wife and the many blessings in her life. He went ahead to wish her many more years of health, happiness and service. He concluded by saying he wished to live and grow with her to age 100.

Mrs Museveni took to her Twitter to show appreciation for her husband’s message. However, it was a shock to online users as it was just a four-word post of “thank you very much” alongside the President’s tweet of her earlier.

Many were quick to question why she couldn’t add a compliment.

“Clearly you don’t love him as well.” One user said referring to Ugandans not liking their president according to him.

“Lesson learnt: Don’t put a relationship on social media.” Another said implying that the first Lady did not want to put her relationship on social media.

“We need a senga for this couple I swear. But for now, let me help. The response should be something like;

“Awww thanks a lot Hun. I love you to the moon and back. Thank you for being a great dad my bujji bujji. U cause me butterflies dady Natasha. Smiling face with heart-shaped eyes. Haza tonight u mk supper.” Another hilariously added.
