Isn’t it going over board. The last time we checked, a wedding is mainly about two people that is the bride and groom.
Yes, their families are involved but must it lead to getting loans. Some times even the things they get loans for are just petty.
You will find the budget of a wedding so extravagantly made and yet the couple doesn’t even have half of the money needed for their wedding.
Why? Why would you have decorations taking up 10 million when you are going to go and later rent after the ceremony? What is the use of having a gown at 7 million, I mean it’s a one day attire!
I really think a couple that is serious should start saving up for their marriage as they are dating.
At least by the time, they are drafting the budget, some of the things should be covered. Half of the budget should be sorted.
If you can’t afford a glamorous wedding, make something within your means.
Simple is beautiful when well planned, there is no need to have a royal ceremony then later suffer paying up loans.
If you are still renting, a wedding of 50 million is simply too much. You can use the 50 million to get land. You have nothing to prove to anyone.
These days, people hire clothes, you can hire your gown at a cheaper price and you will be smart.
Sadly, most times it’s the women who always want extravagant weddings. In the end they complain of renting yet they didn’t they didn’t help their partners plan.
Don’t eat up loans for functions, invest your money in assets. However, this all goes back to the kind of partner you have, so choose your better-half wisely.
