None has matched up to the kind of music that was made when the duo was still together. There are just so many things that made them the solid and dynamic duo that they were.
The connection between the two was so vividly visible. You could tell that the duo was not just working partners but brothers.
The way they complicated each other vocally was just amazing. Radio’s sharp and sweet voice was always complemented by Weasel’s rough and deep voice. This connection was not built in just one day, it was so many years of working together.
The fact that Radio was a talented writer and wrote almost 90% of all their songs, is not something we can brush off. Weasel did not only have a singing partner but a value-adding person to their business.
The most amazing thing is that Radio never complained about writing at any point. Definitely, Weasel also played a role in this too, they just knew how to work together.
Weasel has worked with King Saha, now recently with Dre Cali but the chemistry is still not the same. Obviously, the audience really doesn’t give time for chemistry to grow anymore.
Even Weasel himself may not be planning to be part the music industry for long. These reasons and more have made it hard for Weasel to move on from Radio.
