Romantic relationships are always attractive to engage in even as a young person. While growing up, you may think it’s just exaggeration when they deny you from dating.
When we were young and convinced that dating is just fine, we thought it’s fun. After growing up, all the reasons our parents denied us not to date were not only right but for our own good as well.
Many young students are either secretly or openly dating someone. Well, dating in its own self is not bad but for the age and what it demands, it is not a good idea to date while still a young student.
Romantic relationships demand a lot physically, mentally, financially and even socially. Much as many young people think they are ready for it, truth is they are not.
Teenage pregnancies are on the rise because of relating while still young. Self control is very difficult to observe at this age. You simply just react to the demands of the body without thinking of the reparations.
You find young boys getting involved in gangs to steal and get money to finance a relationship they are in. Even books will take a toil on you because your mental state is not strong enough to handle books and relationships.
You may have no control over getting feelings for someone but you have control over your reaction. Set a standard for yourself and put the dating on hold until you are ready for it.
Someone may ask themselves, how do I know I am ready for dating? My best answer is, you’re not ready for dating until you’re ready for marriage! Unless you are in the system of wasting your time, that is the standard!
As a young student, concentrate on yourself, read your books. Build your dreams! Make yourself better and add value to yourself. You will not regret waiting.
