Willy Mukabya’s Son Denies Dating Singer Leila Kayondo

Junior Mukabya the son of Kadongo Kamu singer Will Mukabya has denied rumours that he is dating fellow singer Leila Kayondo. It should be recalled that the two have been making rounds on social media.

This is after they were spotted together at a restaurant in Kampala. They held hands as they entered the restaurant. And on getting inside, they sat together at a table and got lost in a conversation.

Junior Mukabya who resides in South Africa said that the singer is just his friend and he had just taken her for lunch. It’s like how he can take any other female singer out.

Furthermore, he also denied rumors of the two trying to pull off a stunt. According to Junior Mukabya, he doesn’t have a song with the Awo singer and neither does he have any music to push.

“Leila is just my friend and there is nothing going on between us. I usually come back to Uganda for the festive holidays. And her being a close friend, I decided to take her out. It’s like how I can take Sheebah or Spice Diana out. She’s such a sweet soul and usually comes to visit us when she’s in South Africa. Also, it wasn’t a stunt because we don’t have a song together or anything to promote,” he said.

However, he answered as if there is something he was hiding. When they questioned him about the stark age difference between him and Leila, he said that it was not a problem.

Apparently, sources say that the two are worryingly close. In fact Junior Mukabya is trying to persuade Leila to come and live with him in South Africa.
