The First African performer to capture 7 billboard Nominations
Africa ranking in 2017 Billboard Music Awards ( BMA ) which was broadcasted on 21st May. Wizkid succeeded nominations for Top 100 song, Top Radio song, Top selling Song, Top collaboration, Top R&B Collaboration and the Audio version of Top Streaming Song.
The youngest Artiste to get a Grammy nomination in Africa
In 2016 Drake Album, this Nigerian became the youngest Artiste in Africa to be nominated for Grammy Award Courtesy.

Wizkid became the only Nigerian Artiste who made No.1 spot on the itunes world chart and also maintained the top spot for over 1 week courtesy of 1 dance.
He’s the 1st African Artiste to Perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London
The Nigerian Popstar is the 1st African to both perform and sell out the highly recognized venue of London, the Royal Albert Hall as the main performer in the show.

As of the year 2017, Wizkid has collected a grand total of 43 awards.
1st Nigerian artiste to win 3 Billboard Music Awards
This resulted from his hit collabo ‘’ One Dance’’ with artistes like Kyla and Drake last year which made him to be flooded with awards.
The 1st Nigerian artiste to win an ASCAP Award
Wizkid is also the 1st Nigerian Artiste to earn the International award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers ( ASCAP ). He was given this award to recognize his duty of writing Drake’s hit song ‘’One Dance’’, according to Guardian ng.
He’s the 1st Afro-Pop Artiste to appear in Guinness Book of Records
Wizkid got an opportunity to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records as a result of his tremendous contribution towards Drake’s sensational hit,’’One Dance’’ which hit the top charts world-wide, and it became the most played song on the music streaming service known as Spotify with more than one billion streams.
