Alaska Airlines is ranked the best in the world for two consecutive years beating out Delta Airlines, according to a report compiled by Embry Riddle Aeronautical College of Aviation.

The research conducted surveyed 4 main criteria which includes, mishandled baggage, on time arrivals, customer complaints and denied boarding.
Spirit Airlines is currently having the biggest number of customer complaints and it is 5.59 complaints for each 100,000 passengers.
Alaska Airlines observed an improvement in just one area and that was obligatory denied boarding, for each 10,000 passengers, but it performed badly in the other 3 measures.
One of the writers of the research, Dr. Dean E. Headley told Axios media that the Airline industry has improved this year.
Around June last year, United Airlines encountered a major Public Relations catastrophe when a video relating to a man who was being pulled from the Aeroplane. The incident caused the Airline industry to cut almost half of the obligatory denied boarding rate, according to Dean.
