He has been singing for more than 20 years and is now into politics.
For the twenty years of his singing, he has also had a competition between him and other musicians like Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone.

Last weekend, Bobi Wine held a press conference and asked Ugandans to stop crediting him as a big artiste. He said the young artists also deserve recognition.
His speech didn’t leave Ykee Benda the same as he went to his social media platforms and thanked Bobi for the great words during his interviews.
Ykee Benda asked Ugandan media to give the young generation their recognistion like Bobi Wine did so that everyone can enjoy where they are.
“I watched Bobi Wine’s interview recently abt the music industry. And my oh my, he spoke like a true father of a generation, Omubanda passed on the mantle to the next generation. Our media friends nsaaba bambi give this generation it’s flowers. Time is a fact of life and no matter how hard you pipe our big brothers down our throats with all due respect they ruled in their time just like those before them. A time comes for new beginnings and new stories to be told. Otherwise big up to Bobi Wine
Mad respect for you Papa🙏🏻,” he tweeted.
