Ykee Benda Hits Back At Winnie Nwagi

Mpaka Records boss Ykee Benda has hit back at fellow musician, Winnie Nwagi for being unprofessional. In a recent TV interview, the Swangz Avenue singer was told that Ykee Benda criticized her for releasing a new song when she had just done a song with Crysto Panda.

It should be noted that after her song Mukisenge with the Panda, Winnie Nwagi quickly released her another song, Okubye Nyo.

Some people including Panda himself complained about this. They felt that she should have given the collabo time and some promotion.

When the singer was told that it was Ykee Benda who said this, she quickly hit back being the hot head she is. According to Nwagi, she didn’t know that it was the Mpaka Records boss who said this.

However, she advised him to reduce the heat (kajanja). And if he wants to promote other people’s songs, he should wait and do it on the collabos he does.

The Superman singer also landed on Nwagi’s response and addressed it.

According to Benda, it’s just laughable how an artist sits in front of a camera and addresses lies with no evidence. And a presenter who also presents lies without proof is a joke.

Additionally, he said that he’s got no business discussing other people’s business or affairs. He minds his business and his brand speaks for itself. Furthermore, he said that he’s the type of person who will see you do something stupid and mind his own business.

“The way a journalist sits down with a fellow artist n says Ykee said ABC, without a clip to back up his statement mind you in front of a camera … And the artist goes on to address such a question….Uganda Tuli bubi. What business/ right do I have to discuss anyone’s career /business decisions?  My brand speaks for itself, Ykee Benda has been minding his interests since day one. You could dance naked in a music video n I won’t even care….”
