He says if they wanted a solid case, they would have been patient till after the wedding. Currently, Kasuku, says there is no evidence that Susan and Bugingo wedded traditionally.
The certificate that shows that the two are married traditionally is supposed to come from Buganda but it’s apparently not there.
No wonder the pastor insists he had not gone for a traditional marriage ceremony. He said they invited him for drinks and bites.
However, this is almost obvious to everyone that it is an excuse because they broadcasted the traditional ceremony live on Salt TV. Legally, though, the evidence has to be more solid for example a certificate to show the claim.
The challenge the prosecutors have is to get evidence beyond hearsay. Surprisingly, Teddy, the former wife to the man of God is clear off this saga. Kasuku says other forces are just pushing her to take part in tainting Bugingo and Susan. He says Teddy had even accepted to give Bugingo divorce but the people around her convinced her to stay.
Meanwhile, Kasuku says the pastor is going to win this case whether people like it or not. He also says Susan and Bugingo willwalk down the isle regardless of all the noise in the background.
