You’re A Superstar – Veteran Singer Queen Bella Hails Karole Kasita

Veteran dancehall female singer Queen Bella has come out to hail one of the best current singers, Karole Kasita. Taking to social media, the Faasi singer gave Karole her flowers by praising her talent.

According to Bella, it’s unfortunate that singers like Karole live in an era that forgets easily. These fans tend to forget songs from before and concentrate on the current songs.

Apparently, some fans have been judging the singer by her latest smash hit Chekecha, the remix. She features Swangz Avenue duo, Winnie Nwagi and Vinka in this chart topping single. Some critics feel like this was her breakthrough song and she might not be able to replicate it.

However, Queen Bella thinks otherwise. She hailed the dancehall genre for her earlier songs and added that Balance is her favorite from Karole Kasita’s catalog. The two ladies did a remix of this song with Ziza Bafana about 3 years ago.

“U got hits dear. Just that ur in an era where people forget the before songs and simply remember the latest. So mbu one hit that’s simply UNDER rating u. Naye nga oli wakabi Karole Kasita. BALANCE is my favorite was an honor u inviting me fi di remix. Keep it up,” said Queen Bella.

The veteran singer meanwhile used to do dance-hall music in her heydays. She didn’t manage to quite pull off a feat on the scene as the genre was dominated by men then. She released a few good songs and other mediocre ones before pulling the plug on her music career.
