This was after they denied a section of musicians from Gulu from meeting Gen Salim Saleh to air out the problems.
Bafana says that the General should meet them without third parties as many musicians are aggrieved with many problems.
They however left the Pomini singer cursing after the ‘bigger musicians’ bounced the ‘smaller musicians’ from Gulu telling them that the General doesn’t want to meet them.
Bafana further said that musicians have many problems and even the apps they promised to promote their music have failed.
He also said that the General has no authority to chase them from Gulu because it’s part of their country.
“We want the General to meet some of us with no middleman. This is because all they do is eat the money given to them selectively. They even chased us from Gulu saying the General doesn’t want to meet us.
This industry has many problems and what is being done in Gulu is confusing. Besides the General shouldn’t chase us from Gulu because it’s part of Uganda,” Bafana said.
The dancehall musician then said that they are only going to release music and let it find the General wherever he is.
Gen Salim Saleh has become a common name in the music industry in the past few months.
This has in turn seen Gulu become a hub for entertainers especially from Kampala. They camp there to engage with the Operation Wealth Creation coordinator.
