Although Northern Uganda now enjoys peace, stories of Joseph Kony are not yet over. Private Secretary to the president Judith Ali Okumu after personal contact with Kony in the jungles is set to launch a book titled 14 days of Kony.
The book that depicts Kony Street aerospace will be launched on 15th November at Serena hotel and officiated the president and heads of missions.
Briefing the media, Abina said she was motivated by the plight of war ravaged people to write the book and call on Kony to stop killing innocent people.
“My conviction was to tell this rebel leader to stop the atrocities. This i did out of courage to stop the killing of innocent people,” Abina said.
The book launch will be proceeded with the launch of Abina Okumu foundation that will be engaged in charity activities for people of the North.
Abina will be second woman after Betty Bigombe attempt to convince the rebel leader to stop atrocities in Uganda and other neighbouring government countries.
