Joseph Kony Reportedly Back With Massive Attacks

The Lords resistance army (LRA) headed by Joseph Kony is reportedly back with his resistance works, active and running. Well it’s believed they’re operating within Congo a neighboring country to Uganda from the west and incidents of looting and kidnapping of children is on the rise.

Up to 9 incidences were reported involving and looting in the different parts of Congo last month alone.

According to sources, the rebel group raided the Gongolo village and looted medicinal stuff from clinics, put several households, taking house items and this wasn’t enough they kidnapped a young boy too before leaving, witnesses claimed.

Another two men claimed they were abducted by the group with a young girl, but they were later released that very day and the girl was kept.

Several other attacks in Dr Congo have been reported where by the doctor and 2 cyclists were attacked  and all their money, vaccines and personal belongings were taken by the rebels, according to the Observer.

Well, there so many other incidents of looting and abduction, but LRA crisis tracker said the rebel group is mainly after money, food and medicine and the most affected areas include Gongolo and bang aid in Hautuele, Haute Kotto among others.
