Hamid is the founder and CEO of Aya Group which deals in food manufacturing, transportation, milling and commodity trading and it collects over $300 million annually. Aya Group also owns a $200 million land mark hotel called Pearl of Africa located within Kampala.
5). Sikander Lalani

Sikander is the founder of the largest manufacturer of steel materials in Uganda known as Roofing Group, the company generates over $80 million per year and it employs over 3000 people.
6). Mukesh Shukla

Shukla is an Indian – Ugandan businessman who started from retail and wholesale in 1984, from the profits he got, Makesh begun Aluminum manufacturing and he also open up a Forex bureau. Today he owns Shumuk Group which deals in Hotels, dairy production and many others. The company generates over $80 million annually.
7). Karim Hirji

When I talk about Karim, it’s obvious that most Ugandans have already heard about him. Karim is the top most Hotelier, in early 80s, he started dealing in alcohol beverages and in textiles in Kampala. Today he owns Imperial Group of Hotels and this includes popular 4 star hotels like Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe. He’s also a former champion rally driver.
8). Omar Ahmed

Omar is a multi – millionaire and the owner of Mandela Group. He owns the biggest tyre outlet in Uganda called City tyres where he also does the city retread services as well. He also owns City Oil petrol and gas stations and Café Javas, the successful restaurants with quality and delicious food.
