The Bugweri County Member of Parliament, Hon Abdul Katuntu said he’ll quit parliamentary seat when his term ends in the year 2021.

The legislator says he feels tired of being voted for, he therefore says he’s not interested anymore. It’s time for someone else to take the seat and lead the Bugweri people, the 20 years I have been an MP are just enough for me,’’he said.
Hon Abdul Katuntu who’s also the chairperson of Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises ( COSASE ), a practicing lawyer, a member of Forum for Democratic Change ( FDC ) and also the chairman of Parliamentary Committee of Commissions made those announcements on Saturday during the burial of Nagwomu Esinasi Negesa, the mom to Hon Nagwomu Moses, the legislator for Bunyole County in Butaleja District.
Hon Katuntu, however advised voters across the country to always give enough time to their elected heads, adding that if he or she doesn’t deliver in one or two terms, give them another opportunity then demand for what you expect from them.
