Abitex Finally Sues Alien Skin

Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi aka Abitex has finally sued singer, Alien Skin. It should be noted that the two fell out a few days ago over the Nkwacho festival.

Apparently, they had agreed to hold this concert this month on the 27th of August at Forest Park in Buloba.

A fallout however saw the gig scrapped off the schedule. The two since then have been embroiled in quite a number of verbal exchanges via social media.

Abitex even set up the Tonkaka singer and it appeared that he had disrespected NUP leader, Bobi Wine. Since then Alien has been getting dragged left, right and centre by NUP supporters.

The promoter seems now to have decided to hammer the final nail in Alien’s coffin.

According to an intention to sue notice, the Fangon boss is expected to pay the events promoter over 71m shillings.

He’s also expected to pay 6m shillings as legal fees to Lunar Advocates. The singer has been given 7 days to clear these arrears or else he will be sued.

“WHEREFORE, we demand that you pay our Client UgShs 71,500,000(Uganda Shillings Seventy-One Million Five Hundred Thousand) within Seven (7) days from the date of receipt of this notice, being a sum for the losses and damages sustained as a result of cancelling the said event/show and also furnish to our Chambers a sum of UgShs 6,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million) as legal fees incurred by our Client whilst instructing us.

Expect no further Warning.”

Abitex alleges that he had paid Alien Skin 10m shillings of the 100m shillings agreed for the festival. The money he demands therefore accumulated from the losses he made.
