Africa Needs Over 400M Face Masks And Gloves

Since the outbreak emerged early this year, scientists and senior doctors around the world have been working so hard day and night to discover vaccine and drug. But for a meantime, it’s advisable to wear face masks, gloves and follow other recommended guidelines to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

The world Health organization (WHO) has since been offering support to African countries by providing thousands of coronavirus testing kits to governments, training healthcare workers and conducting close observation in communities.

Initially, only two African countries could test for coronavirus, but as we talk right now, over 44 countries can now do the testing.

WHO has advised countries in Africa to implement guidelines including quarantine, repatriations of citizens and preparedness at the places of work and many other ways to identify, manage and prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

The organization is also helping local authorities to make radio messages and TV adverts to inform public about the dangers of coronavirus and what measures to be considered.

The only way people can remain safe is to simply wear face masks and also use gloves as the development of vaccine and drug is ongoing.

While on his Facebook page, Strive Masiyiwa said It will soon be illegal in most countries to move around without a Mask. This will be a boom for Textile Entrepreneurs. Large companies and even cottage industry moms can make these Masks. As an entrepreneur you should have taken off long ago!
