People have been having different thoughts concerning this act. Some have said it’s because of the regulations, while others have said this is just downgrading the African Presidents.
“😂😂😂it’s not humility, maybe the Royal family humbled them instead. The guidelines for today’s burial were clear, no private jets, no body guards, no presidential motorcades, a bus ferrying all heads of state to the burial it is,” said Okuyu Benard.
“Only Biden and the premier of Israel and some emperor from Japan are allowed to move with their own private vehicles and security. The rest buses,” a one Mugisha David.
However, some people have said this should serve as a lesson to some presidents that they don’t need to have a fleet of cars in the city.
“That’s not the issue here. It should teach them a lesson that they don’t actually require 20+ cars to transport just one person. We can significantly reduce that & save costs,” a one Muchope Amoti.
Meanwhile, the Queen is to be laid to rest today. She passed on on 8th September 2022.
Gawaya Tegulle used to pay more allegiance to the Queen
In separate news by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, veteran journalist, Gawaya Tegulle said he was paying more allegiance to the Queen of England than to the president of Uganda. He said this while eulogizing the Queen who passed away recently in England.
The English Monarch was apparently sick and it had gone on for long. Tegulle says Uganda would have made more progress if it had stayed under the Queen of England.
