Take a good look at yourself in the mirror, are you perfect? Why are you looking for the things you’re not in another person? Clearly, we all know we attract who we are. How can you allow yourself to make mistakes and expect another person not to make them? What if the perfect person comes around, how will he/she coexist with you who is imperfect.
Don’t be unrealistic with life. In the first place, are you looking for love or for perfection? Sometimes people think if their partner loves them, they won’t be hurt. I can boldly tell you that they will hurt you and yet they love you to the moon and back. Most of the time it may not even be intentional but because we are human, sometimes we have to be ourselves.
It is true, you must have your qualities written down but don’t think you will get someone who will fulfill them all. Before we go any further anyway, first be everything you want your partner to be, then you will maybe be in a position to demand perfection.
You can’t be a brute and expect to attract respect.
You can’t be a cheat and expect loyalty in return.
The people looking for perfection most times are people who have been hurt and are now vulnerable. However, don’t let your experiences in the past bring you to fear in your present and future.
Let love find you, you can always work on each other as you grow together.
