Azawi’s Album Listeners’ Party A Sign That Ugandan Music Is Transitioning

After Azawi’s album listeners party, we know that the music industry is indeed heading somewhere. Singer Azawi hosted a few celebrities under her management, Swangz Avenue.

Her Album has 16 songs of which two of them have already and are still making rounds on all TV stations and Radio stations. Such things have not happened much in the industry.

This clearly means that our music is attaining a certain kind of maturity and professionalism. Usually, artists launch one song and it’s even once in a blue moon.

If, now an album is being released, then it means, artists are now understanding the music industry. The music industry in the western world caught this and this is how they make a lot of money from their music.

Recently, Ykee Benda released an album as well that people were purchasing online. An album definitely takes a lot of time because of the many songs in it. Every song needs its own time and of course money.

Much as it takes a lot of work, it is the way to go. This is how the industry is going to grow and sieve mediocre artists out.

Meanwhile, Azawi’s listeners’ party brought in lots of people. Sheila Gashumba graced the event with her boyfriend, Rickman.

She tweeted saying she was in love with all the songs on the album. Apparently, every song there is very unique and adds something to the album.
