This was as a result of a recent social media video he circulated with him in it.
Bajjo in a video criticized the government for paying meagre salaries to people in the public service especially teachers, soldiers and those in the judiciary.
Bajjo added that he had decided to become a voice for these because they are stupid and afraid to speak up.
He went ahead to tell President Museveni to send his children to work in these sectors and see the situation.
While at Kibuli, Bajjo said that he didn’t know why they summoned him.
“I don’t know why I was summoned but I came to record a statement. It’s in relation to the video I recorded on social media. Even if they jail me, it will go on record that I was fighting for the truth. They should work on the messenger’s message and not arrest the messenger.” He said.
His lawyer said that he had come to make sure that his client goes through the right procedures.
The lawyer however said that he was to talk to him about the video because he had gone overboard in his statements.
“Right now Bajjo has no crime but some of the things he said in the video were uncalled for. I will talk to him and try to engage the security officials here.” His lawyer said.
One of the CID officials said that music promoter was going to help them in investigating the video he recorded.
He further added that this video had the possibility of arousing negative sentiments among people.
Therefore if they find him guilty, the will prosecute him accordingly.
