Balaam Barugahara has indicated that there are plans to name a road after the first son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba. And we all know how he’s close to the ruling class in the country meaning that he’s always eavesdropping.
There are few roads in Uganda that quite have a famous name as Kampala road. It’s almost the joint for most roads exiting the city.
We are also all used to our normal commuter operators shouting ‘Kampala road’ and so on. Suppose you went to the city and found them shouting ‘Paaka mpya Muhoozi road.’
Well, through his Twitter page, Balaam revealed that there are plans to name a road after the first son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
He also added that the road will be named Muhoozi Kainerugaba. And this is a thought that was well arrived at by KCCA according to the one ‘t-shirted’ man.
“Kampala Road to be renamed Muhoozi Kainerugaba Road. Thank You KCCA Council for that Wonderful decision. In Gen @mkainerugaba we Trust,” Balaam Barugahara said.
We can just imagine the uproar that might engulf the nation once this becomes official. For now, we keep our fingers crossed on whether this will be communicated by the City council.
This would be another plot in a long list of things that have been done in the rumored Muhoozi project.
These include among others the numerous birthday parties that were thrown across the country a while ago. These saw fury amongst the public and allegedly some sections of the army.
These brought about tensions in the army that required Museveni to call an emergency meeting. Consequently, Muhoozi stopped organizing these parties and tweeting about sensitive security issues.
