Last week, ‘One love beach’ director Barbie surprised revelers with donations that were given to her to take care of the needy and those in need of her help. However while happening on different media platforms, she thanked all women leaders who defend the girl child picture through donating sanitary pads.
Barbie Kyagulanyi also asked girls to stay in school for their betterment and equipped them with one of the most neglected girl child requirements.
“Surprise donations have been handed over to me by many of you who cross my path lately. People have met me in the most unexpected places and donated several packs of sanitary pads. Just like #juliebristowsfirebase who found me at work yesterday and gave me a package of re_usable sanitary pads, many of you have dropped off yours at our office In Kamwokya, you have handed some to our staff at One love beach, handed packs to me and my team in parking lots, restaurants and other places; You are playing a big role in helping us realise our dream to KEEP THE GIRL CHILD IN SCHOOL by equiping them with one of the most neglected girl child requirements. We at Caring hearts Uganda are very grateful for every single re_usable sanitary pad that each one of you has donated. With every pad donated, we hope to have an educated generation of Ugandan daughters, mothers and future leaders. With your support, We know we will bless that girl in hard to reach remote schools.” she stated.
