Stop Dating Young Girls – Minister Bahati Warns Ugandan Men

The Honourable  finance minister of State in charge of planning Bahati David warned Ugandan men against tempting young girls into sexual relationships.

Currently, the stagnation of adolescent pregnancies in the country stands at 25%

While addressing journalists at the Media Centre in Kampala concerning the upcoming 8^th African Population Conference (APC) to take place in Kampala, Minister Bahati said men should stop dating young girls as the government continues to eradicate the immorality.

You men should stop the habit of  falling in love with young girls because you’re exposing them to health risks,’he said.

Minister Bahati said the government is fully committed to making sure that this call is worked upon so that the future of Uganda’s young generation particularly the girls, is not destroyed.

I also appeal to cultural and religious leaders, teachers and parents to come out and hint about this challenge  with children if the move is to be contrary,’she added.
