Bobi Wine Accuses NBS TV Of Hating Him

Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine the leader of the National Unity Platform has accused Next Media Services which is the parent house of NBS TV of hating him.

While addressing a press conference yesterday for Eid, Bobi Wine pointed this out.

When an NBS microphone was put in front of him, he cheekily said that he wishes the way they put the mic in front of him is the same that they love him.

“NBS I wish the way you put your microphone in front of me is the same way that you love me. That would have made a lot more sense,” he said.

This saw different opinions from the NBS journalists who were around. They started to tell him that not all of them hate him, some like him.

Apparently, there is a sense of belief in the public that the Naguru-based TV station hates opposition. They believe that the TV station is a State enabler simply paid to fuel rifts in opposition.

These always point out that the TV Station doesn’t miss out on reporting about any bad thing in the party.

They also feel that NBS reports a lot of propaganda and unsubstantiated news to paint the party as if it’s on the brink of collapse. Besides, they believe that the station gives a lot of airplay to its (NUP) critics.

Meanwhile on the other hand the Kin Karisa-owned Media house has also pointed out that it works for nobody. They say that nobody covers the NUP’s positive side more than they do. Therefore, these allegations of bias are just untrue.
