This past week has seen many young people under Phaneroo Ministries led by Apostle Grace Lubega throng Kampala streets. These have been preaching in commemoration of their church’s 9th anniversary.
A one Arinda Shivan was targeted by social media. They claimed that she had completed a law degree but was disgracing herself with street preaching. And the story goes on for other youths out there.
Some people complained that these people instead of looking for jobs and being productive are wasting time.
Singer Bruno K who also prays from there however defended his folks. He said that most of those spreading the gospel actually have good paying jobs.
He even pointed out former Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe who is among these street preachers.
“Most of the Phanero people you see street-preaching have very good jobs. Don’t assume they are jobless. It’s all for Christ and canal people can’t understand it.”
“This is Stella Nantumbwe former Miss Uganda street-preaching alongside very powerful young ladies in this country. When we are serving God, we come to him as humble men. No titles, no ranks, no names,” he said.
Meanwhile the spiritual debate rages on on social media.
