Representatives of Uganda in CAF Confederations Cup KCCA FC, are today Saturday going to be live in action taking on Libya’s Abu Salem. This is in the return leg of the CAF Confederations Cup at ST Mary’s Kitende in a do-or-die encounter.
KCCA FC comes into the game with a lot to rectify after losing the first leg on a 3-1 score in Tunisia last week. The Kasasiro boys will need a two-goal margin and will need to avoid conceding if they are to qualify through to group stages.
KCCA FC head coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil pointed out that silly mistakes are the ones that cost them in the first leg. He added that they have rectified them ahead of the second leg.
“First, we need to go with another kind of mentality. Because in the first leg, we did some silly mistakes, that is mentality”
“I think the boys were under some different kind of pressure. I think we were on top of the game when we suffered that first silly goal. That goal completely brought our strategy down, so the thing is, let’s not make the same mistakes,” he added.
Furthermore, the Spanish coach revealed on rectifying the mistakes, “In the defensive transition, l have tried to change it a little bit so that we are more compact, and in attack, we want to be more dangerous”.
Traguil has a full squad to choose from a winning team except forward Mohammed Shaban, Emmanuel Loki and left-back Mustafa Kizza.
