Canada legislators on Tuesday passed a law that will legalize Marijuana in the country, according to USA today. This makes Canada to be the first wealthy country to entirely legalize cannabis.

The system is expected to begin with effect from September 2018, it will give adults the rights to go ahead and own Marijuana, to grow it and also sale. For a meantime, the Federal government will proceed with supervision on a wide criminal violations, like selling to children and giving licenses to producers, according to VOX, however, regional governments will have the ability to tighten local rules.

In US, the District of Columbia and nine states have already legalized Marijuana for recreational use and other 29 States have accepted it for medical purposes. Another country that legalized this drug for recreational use is a south American country called Uruguay.
