Casemiro’s Wife Hits Back At Man United Following The Brazilian’s Criticism

Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder Casemiro ’s wife has decided to fight her man’s battles. She took to her Instagram stories and hit back at the club and its fans.

This followed the 32-year-old’s criticism of the Red Devil’s Premier League loss to Liverpool.

Erik Ten Hag’s side was demolished by his fellow countryman Arne Slot’s Liverpool 3-0 in their own backyard. A first-half brace from Luis Diaz and another from Mo Salah was enough to earn the Kops all three points.

However, Casemiro was directly involved in losing the ball in all of Luis Diaz’ goals. Ten Hag seems to have noticed this and replaced him at halftime.

What prompted criticism;

The former Real Madrid midfielder left the stadium as soon as he was substituted whilst the game was still being played. This has now seen him get severely criticized by the club’s fans and some ex-players.

However, his wife, Anna Mariana Casemiro through her Instagram posted the Brazilian’s catalog of trophies won at Real Madrid. These included 5 Champions League titles which are more than Man U itself has won.

This has been interpreted by many as insinuating that the player is bigger than the United. And in fact, he’s a quality footballer who won all he has in a functional team which can’t be said about the Manchester club.

Ever since his big-money move from Real Madrid, the midfielder has not found life easy in the Premier League. He has been inconsistent with some highs and lows. But this can’t be blamed on only him as it’s the story with several of the club’s players.

Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag looks to have a rough time ahead of him. He’s lost two of the opening three games of the league so far. Despite several high-profile summer signings, there doesn’t seem to be a sign of improvement in the team.
